AUSTIN, TEXAS. November 25, 2017 /For immediate release/ — Glen Brynteson, President of TrainOurTroops.org, joins the OSD (Operation Supply Drop) Board of Advisors to catalyze training and development for the military community through OSD’s award-winning global programs.
On the heels of the strategic partnership announcement between OSD and TrainOurTroops.org, Brynteson will assist in directly developing the programming committed to training over 200,000 military community members through OSD by 2022.
Brynteson said of joining OSD’s leadership, “The community aspect drew my interest in OSD and the different outreach programs they provide. TrainOurTroops focuses specifically with training and certification programs based on what we know organizations are demanding. I want to partner with other non-profits that offer critical veteran services and solutions and that they excel in those areas – OSD is such an organization and I’m honored to join their team.”
Glenn Banton, Executive Director of OSD, said, “I’m personally excited to have Glen’s shared no nonsense approach to veteran and mil-spouse impact on our leadership team. We’ve had the pleasure of working together on numerous projects over the last year and it was a natural progression to have him join our growing board. His addition to the team will have an immediate and visible impact on our military community.”
Brynteson comes from a military family with his father being in the Army 40 years, 27 of those years being an Army Ranger. He is a by-product of the military and watching his father work tirelessly for our nation planted the seed for his personal drive to serve those who serve.
